BAR: A friendly and informal place to gather with fellow boaters. Now, open on weekends throughout the winter. An excellent place to gather and conduct business, plan the next boat trip or just sit back and watch the ball game.

SHOWER AND WASHROOM FACILITIES: Clean and safe facilities open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

HIGH SPEED WIRELESS INTERNET: Our clubhouse is equipped with DSL high speed wireless internet. Take care of business while away from the office, check your e-mail or keep the kids entertained, just bring your laptop into the clubhouse and log on.

PARTIES AND ENTERTAINMENT: Every year the club hosts several parties including a Children's Party, Halloween, Super bowl, St. Patrick's Day and many more with numerous entertainers appearing. See photos.

RECIPROCITY: Your Diversey Yacht Club membership entitles you to reciprocity at other Yacht Clubs, not only on Lake Michigan, but in other states and even other countries. A must if you travel with or without your boat.

WATERLINE: Your Diversey Yacht Club membership includes a subscription to the Waterline. An excellent boating newsletter published monthly in season and bi-monthly out of season.

FLEET CRUISES: Tired of the same old "nickel tour" to Navy Pier and back? Join us as we travel to various Ports O' Call on Lake Michigan. Travel with, and learn from, our experienced fleet boaters.

CORINTHIAN YACHTING EVENTS: Venetian Night, the CYA Ball, L.M.Y.A. Dinner and other yachting activities sponsored by local Yacht Clubs and yachting organizations.

DIVERSEY HARBOR SHUTTLE: The club has an eight person "people mover" (see photo). Need ice delivery? Transportation from boat to club house? Just call the people mover on VHF channel 71.

winter season: The clubhouse is open Friday, Saturday and Sunday; not only to Diversey Yacht Club members and their guests, but also to anyone who owns a boat in Diversey Harbor or any of the other Chicagoland harbors, so feel free to invite your boating buddies to join you at the clubhouse.

REPRESENTATION: Diversey Yacht Club is the voice of Diversey Harbor - become part of that voice. DYC has representatives that meet with, or belong to, the Chicago Park District, Westrec, civic and community groups, Friends of the Marine Community, Chicago Yachting Association, Lake Michigan Yachting Association, Yacht Clubs of America, United States Coast Guard Auxiliary, Boaters PAC, BoatU.S. and the Chicago Power Squadron.

Quite frankly, we believe we have the finest Yacht Club on Lake Michigan. What makes us the best is our members - they are the ones who make our club great. Whether your boating interests are primarily cruising and travel, fishing, scuba diving, go-fast boats or strictly social, Diversey Yacht Club has something to offer you and your family. If you are in Diversey Harbor to stay, and not just "passing through," perhaps this is the year you should join "The Yacht Club."
REGULAR MEMBERSHIP: $600 - One who has a mooring assignment in Diversey Harbor, permanent or temporary.
NON-RESIDENT MEMBER: $500 - One who has a boat in a harbor other than Diversey Harbor.
ASSOCIATE MEMBER: $500 - One who may not have a boat, but is interested in the club for social purposes.
INITIATION FEE: $100 - A one-time charge for new members.
