We welcome your interest in joining our family of members at the DYC!

You don't need to have a boat at Diversey Harbor to become a member. In fact, you don't need to have a boat at all. An interest in boating might help, but even that isn't required. An interest in making new friends and having a good time is all you need.

Membership in the Diversey Yacht Club entitles you to:

The Galley - Enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner with family & friends in a friendly, casual atmosphere.

The Bar - A great place to gather with fellow boaters, plan the next boat trip or just sit back and watch the ball game.

Private Showers & Bathrooms - Clean and safe facilities open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Social Events - The DYC offers events year-round, including parties, dinners, movie nights and more.

High Speed Wireless Internet - Just bring your laptop into the clubhouse to check the latest weather forecast, check your e-mail, or do some work - if you must.

Reciprocal Privileges - Through our membership in The Register of American Yacht Clubs, DYC members have reciprocity rights with over 250 yacht clubs throughout the United States and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Fleet Cruises - Tired of the same old "nickel tour" to Navy Pier and back? Join us as we travel to various Ports O' Call on Lake Michigan. Travel with, and learn from, our experienced fleet boaters

Representation - Diversey Yacht Club is the voice of Diversey Harbor - become part of that voice. The DYC has representatives that regularly meet with the Chicago Park District, Westrec, the Chicago Yachting Association, the Lake Michigan Yachting Association and the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary.

Quite frankly, we believe we have the finest Yacht Club on Lake Michigan, and we warmly welcome new members. Naturally, there are fees assocated with Membership, but our rates are reasonable and affordable!
